An application packet and award criterion will be mailed to students The American Cancer Society Rocky Mountain Division will award 25 $1,000 scholarships to young cancer survivors who are pursuing undergraduate degrees from an accredited university, community college, or vocational technical school. This program is open to all graduating seniors in the Rocky Mountain Division - Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, and North Dakota who are U.S. citizens and have had a cancer diagnosis before the age of 21. Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of a volunteer committee, and are based on the student's financial need, academic performance, community service, and leadership. also Eligibility include: ar upon request. The purpose of the field day is to provide young people with an understanding of the agricultural industry and the important role it plays in our community and society. Many young people uxlay lack an understanding of how crops and fixxl arc produced. The field day is also used to educate young people on the importance of conserving and perpetuating our natural resources such as soil, clean water and wildlife.
