The bride is a graduate of Clearfield High School and is emPacific Northern ployed by Mortgage in Las Vegas. She is the granddaughter of Lloyd and Betty Crittenden, of Coalville. The bridegroom graduated from Alhambra High School and is em- .k ployed by Lyons Mortgage. After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, they will reside in Las Vegas. He will be speaking on Jan. 17 at 9 a.m. in the Milford Third Ward in Milford. He will enter the MTC on Jan. 27. He is a 1998 graduate of Milford High School, where he played many sports and w as the senior cass vice president. He is currently an assistant basketball coach at South Summit High School. Elder Michael Simister has been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints in the Califomia-Sant- a Rosa Mission. He will be speaking in the Coalville First Ward on Sunday, Jan. 17, at 11:30 a.m. prior to entering the MTC on Jan. 2a Michael is a 1994 graduate of North Summit High School and is the son of James and Dena Simister, of Coalville. Call for details 7 Steven Kyle Dent received his Eagle Scout award on Dec. 6. Steven worked hard during all of his Scouting years and completed all requirements for this award. For his Eagle project, he took apart the table tops of some tables at the Hoytsville Park Bowery. He took the original three pieces of wood, added a 2x4 to them, and doweled them together to make one solid table top. After sanding them smooth, he replaced the solid table CoaCvidCe Literary The Coalville Literary Club met on Dec. 9 at the home of Leatha Harris. Our hostesses for the evening were Letha Harris and Helen Chappell A delicious dinner was served, followed by a review of the book Big George" by James Jennings. The book review was given by Marilyn Broadbent, accompanied by her husband, Lee, to give the story a dazzling touch. If you believe in angels, this is a true story. It takes place in a neonatal ICU, where newborns are fighting for their lives. The focus of the story being on one little newborn, called "Big George". This sweet little baby weighed only one and a half pounds at birth, and is an angel in disguise a very special angel who has been sent to the Earth on a mission of the greatest importance by his Father. While being beckoned by the light, he courageously stays on the earth, bound and determined to get a message across to those who Father intended it for. His message: "Love One Another. This story, from Big Georges point of view, will keep you laughing and crying at the same time. The author does a remarkable job reminding us that our greatest power lies not in our minds...but in our hearts. Steven has many abilities and interests. He does very well in school, always making the honor roll and is a photographer for the North Summit Yearbook. Steven runs cross country and track. For work, he is a lifeguard for the N.S. swimming pool and milks cows for a neighbor. He has served on the Silver Moccasin Jr. Leader Training Staff. His interests include fishing, hunting, camping, reading, basketball and other sports, being with his friends, and helping others enjoy life. Steven is the son of Vince and Fern Dent, and a brother to TcKoi, Eric, Marcia, and Amy. He is a special young man whom we are honored to know! Congratulations, Steven. You are wonderful!
