When he has some free time to watch T.V., he watches his favorite show .Air Wolf and when he goes out to the show, "Teen Wolf is. his favorite attraction. Black and red seem to be the colors Russ enjoys, and Alabama's song "She and I is what he likes to hear the most. He also likes steak and the season of fall. He keeps himself busy by three wheeling, hunting, fishing, camping, and helping his father in his shop. Russell has had a great many achievements in school: four years' of wrestling, four years of football in which he was captain for one year, and a four year member of F.F.A. To the question what she gained from all these years at North Summit and what made them, so special to her, she replied, I have had a lot of opportunities to do the things I like to do and Ive been able to get to know everyone well. This has been very important to her as she likes being with joy WHonghby talking. Her other hobbies are playing the piano and cheerleading which she does successfully and full of inspiration. Meredith has been a cheerleader at North Summit for four years. However, cheerleading is not her only achievement in our school, she has been on the Honor Roll, Senior Class Secretary, Girl's State Representative, FBLA member, and Homecoming 1st attendant. After high school she plans on attending college and wants to become a legal assistant. We are proud to have her in our school and well miss her next year. Good luck for a good college career and future! Heike Grieser State Competition The Poultry Team from the North Summit FFA Chapter competed in the State FFA North Summit Poultry Team si. . - s' v . Yf s 4 Poultry Contest Thursday, May 8th, at Utah State University and won the contest. This qualifies them for the national competition in Kanas City in November. Members of the team were Kirk Orgill, team captain, Cody Stephens, Ray Jacobson, and Rob Smith. Team members have to grade eggs on interior and exterior Quality. They also have to grade carcasses of dressed birds and identify the cut parts of a carcass. Other classes of the contest included judging production hens on a selection basis, finding egg laying capacity, and finding defects of eggs and chicken breast patties. We would like to congratulate these FFA members on their effort to win this contest. , Cody Stephens was awarded a metal, for being the high individual in this contest. h .
