On February 17, 18, and 19 in St. George, Utah at Dixie High School, an Academic Decathlon will be held. There will be six members from each school in the state participating as a school team. They were chosen from three grade point average groups, the honor group, the scholastic group, and the varsity group. The students will compete in 10 different areas. They will be: interview, essay, speech, economics, fine arts, grammar-liter- s ture, math, science, social science, and a super quiz. Each student that wished to participate took a test to determine who would be chosen to go. - ; ' . .
