Members of the Relief Society were treated to a Christmas program and luncheon on Tues-- . day, Dec. 18. . The annual ward Christmas Party was held Tuesday evening, Dec. 18, with the Primary children presenting the program. The entire group joined in community singing before Santa made his appearance. This event is eagerly anticipated by the children of the community every year. . Dec. 23, the Sunday School will present a Christmas program. , Tithing Settlement will be held Dec. 23. 28 and 29, ' Appointments may be made with the Men-Youn- Last week Pearl Hortin took her ' family to dinner at The Red Baron Restaurant in Brigham City. They were allowed to use the Amber Room for their Christmas dinner. The family enjoyed listening to tapes they had received from their missionaries. Then they all had a gift exchange. They were also able to- put together a little more, geneology. We have received word that Alfred and Georgia Johnson arrived safely in Houston. Georgia reports that she flew across the ' city to their son Dee's helicopter and eally loved it. .Dee flies his helicopter to shuttle workers from the mainland out to the oilrigs in the bay. Max and Emma Lloyd from Salt Lake stopped' in to visit the DeeLynn Stevens family and had lunch with them Saturday. Later in the day one of Dean's missionary companions from the California ' Oi. kland Mission stopped in to visit. In the evening Gale and Vida Stevens, Tom and Marge Stevens, Terry and Carolyn Stevens and their son Doug all stopped in to visit. The Wilde family held their ' Christmas party Sunday at the home of Sheri Kaye and Kent Leavit. There were many family members involved in the planning and preparations. The kids put on a skit and sang songs and The Harkness family celebrated a fun birthday on December 14. Jeff Harkness spent an enjoyable first birthday with his parents, Brian and Debbie Harkness. Another happy birthday was celebrated by the Powell family. Dec. 15 was Shane's big day. The Jepson family finished their Christmas shopping last weekend. Several families spent Sunday in Provo to attend a farewell for Danny Hair, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hair (Mary). Among them were the Don Jepson family, the Richard Watson family and the ; Jared Weller family. Danny will be leaving on his mission very soon to serve in Nova Scotia. The Cliff Mitchell family spent the weekend with their, grandmother, Pat Simpson. They had a . lot of fun making Christmas candy and other goodies.
