Movie attendance typically drops after a film's opening weekend. However, The Flyboys has bucked that trend to become a word of mouth film with a growing audience. That growth has fueled state-wide expansion. The Flyboys will open in the Salt Lake City area on Friday, Sept. 12. Stars from the film are expected to be in attendance at various functions in the Salt Lake City area in advance of the opening. The Flyboys is the story of two boys from a small town who find their courage tested when they accidentally stow away aboard an airplane owned by the mob.
