Tell the Forest Supervisor to issue an emergency closure of this route to stop damage to the Dark Canyon Wilderness, and begin working on an environmental impact statement that addresses protection for all the remaining roadless lands in the Abajos, including the necessary obliteration of countless “roads.” The message should be clear: keep the heavy equipment out of Dark Canyon, no “roads” should be maintained or constructed anywhere on the forest until a travel plan is complete, and the voice of the national public must be heard every step of the way!
