Austin Gibbons of Park City, State Deputy of the K, of C., and the team from the Park City Council were in Price on Tuesday, October 26th, to conduct the installation of new officers of the Council. Parish Notes The Notre Dame Club met at the home of Miss Mary Dalpiaz on Friday, October 1st. The evening was spent in sewing and music. After the social hour, refreshments were served by the hostess, assisted by her mother, Mrs. C. Dalpiaz. Mrs. Mary ForcL entertained a number of Catholic girls at a Kensington at her home on Friday, October 15th. Dainty refreshments were served at.,the conclusion of the sewing hour. Gisella and Virginia, daughters of Anton and Apollonia Mayash, were baptized at Scofield, Oct-be- r 14th, by Monsignor Giovannoni. The sponsors were John and Mary Biziak. The First Annual Knights of Columbus Ball was held at the Liberty Hall in Helper on October 12th. The hall was elaborately decorated in the Knights colors, red, white and blue. And the same color scheme was ised in the favors, which were caps and numerous other fcThe ball was in the form of a Carnival dance and was a success both financially and socially. The Night Hawk Orchestra furnished the music. In charge of arrangements were Mr. H. H. McCardle, Mr. Frank Bombino and Monsignor Giovannoni. The names of Stanley and Mary were given to the son and daughter of Peter and Catherine Zmarzlikos of Scofield, on October 14th. Frank and Frances Harabich were the sponsors. fun-maker- s. Veronica, daughter of Joseph and Veronica Parish of Winter Quarters was baptized at Scofield, October 14th. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Mayink acted as sponsors. Marguerite Louise, daughter of Joseph and Jennie Vigorelli, of Helper, was baptized at St. Anthonys Church on October 17th. The sponsors were Toffee Gazel and Stella Frazee. The Ladies Altar Society of Price met at the home of Mrs. Charles Averill on Thursday afternoon, October 14th. Plans were made for a drive to be put on for the purpose of raising funds for the benefit of the Notre Dame Church. Mrs. Ray Dem-in- g has charge of arrangements. The name Angeline Caroline was given to the daughter, of Mr. and Mrs. Pasquale Tunno, of Kenilworth, on Sunday, October 17th, in Ewell, Utah, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Perri who acted as sponsors. Miss Angeline Martinelli entertained the Catholic Girls Sewing Club at her home on Thursday evening, October 14th. After the sewing hour a delicious luncheon was enjoyed by the guests. , Monsignor Giovannoni was called to Scofield, October 14th, for the funeral of Anton Mayash who died October 11th, after a long illness, and was buried in the Scofield cemetery. , Among those attending the installation of Bishop Mitty at Salt Lake City were Monsignor Giovannoni, H. H. McArdle, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Victor Litizetti, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bombino and Charles Perry. Joe Ahlin of Kenilworth and Mary Tezak of were married at Notre Dame, Price, with Nuptial Mass on October 16th. They were attended by Martin Kramarich and Annie Tezak. A special meeting of Carbon Council No. 2611, Knights of Columbus, was held at Notre Dame de Lourdes on Sunday, October 24th, at which time Supreme Auditor McKenzie from the supreme coun- ! " , Funeral services were conducted at Notre Dame at Price for Mr. C. H. Campbell, "architect of Price. Monsignor Giovannoni had charge of, services which were held on Sunday, October 10th.
