Dastnip, who plays halfback and outside linebacker, is ms of the top returning players on the Longhorn team. Last year he was s top gainers for the Altamont Longhorns, but he just recently returned to the team after an early season injury. All the seniors try to provide leadereh ip. We have some young players, and have to keep them playing to the best of their abilities plus get everyone healthy. Garrett Dastrup said. Joey Meeks, a tight end, scored a touchdown for the Altamont Longhorns in a battle vs. Gunnison, recently, and he said, Ws have got a bunch of underclassmen playing. We have to keep them going and keep their minds in the game. Devin Tew is one of the top linemen on Altamont' team and blocking naturally is the moat important job for the line guys. "If we dont block the running backs and quarterback aren't too happy. We have to keep them from getting tackled," he stataL "Going to region is a whole new season."
