Selected for English is Beth POulson. daughter of Stan and Nadine Poulson. Beth has a 3.996 GPA. She has also won several poetry competitions. She serves on the yearbook staff as is a member of the seminary council. Selected for Math is Mary Faust daughter of Dan and Chris Faust. Mary has a 3.9 GPA and has been active in music and drama as well as academics. Mary is also on the yearbook staff and the seminary council. KaraLee Hoopes has been selected as the Social Science Sterling Scholar. She is the daughter of Bob and Carrie Hoopes. She has been a student body officer for the last four years and is the student body president this year. KaraLee has been active in sports, drama, and many other school You Said it . . . "There are a tot of benefits to going to college here rather than at a university," says Jennifer Murray, a major m Business Information Systems, "lean work full time during the day, Jennifer Murray because most of the classes are at night and the classes are smaller than at a university, so you get more time to work with the professors. It's also easier to get involved in campus activities. The faculty is awesome, you walk through die door and almost everyone knows you." Erin is the daughter of Lynn and Juanita Allen. competitions throughout Utah. She is the daughter of Alton and Carolyn Moon. Erin Allen has been selected as General Sterling Scholar. Erin carries a 3.997 GPA. Sheserves as this years q activities. Luke Smith is the son of Mike and Gaye Smith and has been selected in the Science category. Luke has done extensive work in the field of wildlife and natural resources. He is the of the Raptor Recovery Center. Karri Jo Skewes is a starting player volleyball, basketball, and softball. She graduated from Utah Business Week and qualified in both word and information processing. Representing Computer Technology is Ben Keller. He is the son of Ingred and Roger Keller. Ben is an accomplished student in Computer Technology and Math. Ben has competed in state computer competi- tions and math fairs. Family and Consumer Sciences Sterling Scholar is Carrie Spencer. She is the daughter of Harold and Carolyn Spencer. She is currently the student body vice president and has served as the FCCLA president. This past summer, she attended a National FCCLA convention in Boston. Leslee Draper has been selected in Speech and Drama. She is the daughter of Duane and Teresa Draper. She has received superior ratings in both drama and music. She was Dolly in this years production of 'Hello Dolly. She has a 3.87 GPA. and has been on the Academic Decathon team for three years. Casey Lance is the son of Terry and Joyce Lance. He has been selected as the Music Sterling Scholar. He plays several instruments and has had several vocal leads in school musicals. He id the editor of the yearbook and also on the Academic Decathon Team. A four year cheerleader and drill team member, Kellee Moon has been selected as the Dance Sterling Scholar.
