Debbie was also an outstanding and is a science student 1998-9member of the National Honor Society. He was the First Team All Region Defensive Tackle, and was a team captain this year for both football and wrestling. Representing the SpeechDrama category is Randi Robison, daughter of Gary and Carmen Robison of Roosevelt Randi is the Southwestern Region representative for the National Student Safety Program. She is the senior class president and has had leading roles in drama productions for the past three years. Jay Dee Wood is the Trade and Technical Education Sterling Scholar, and is the son of Kirk and Rona Wood of Roosevelt He is a state winner of the parliamentary procedure team, as well as a member of the National Honor Society. Jay Dee is also an Eagle Scout The Visual Arts Sterling Scholar is Tyla Sprouse, daughter of Tom and Mohea Sprouse of Roosevelt Tyla is the yearbook art editor for 1 and is a member of the UHS art club. She also won third place for Drawing Comp at the Academic Excellence Fair. The General Sterling Scholar is David Eckels, who is the son of Marc and Lynelle Eckels of Roosevelt.
