A reception and dance in honor of Heather Hardy and Jake Fabrizio who were married in Salt Lake Temple, Nov. 14. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Hardy and other relatives from Salt Lake Wednesday where Kristy kept a doctors appointment Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Baum left to spend the winter in Arizona. Vida Defa is in the Roosevelt Hospital recovering from a cracked pelvis. Brandon Tumbow non of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Tumbow brought his bride to be "Brittney to visit Mr. and Mrs. Leo Turnbw. They plan a spring wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Jody Bratcher of Salt Lake, have a baby boy bom Nov. 6. Hie name is Zachrey Blake. He has 2 other brothers. Greg Hayes, his wife Leah and three boys Dane, Terri, and Teniece all of Denver City Texas came up to bring their son Kris Hayes up to enter him in the MTC. Some of those that attended were Kathy and Bruce Peterson and son C.J., Riverton; John and Kori Rosenhan of South Jordan; Randy and Anita Clayburn, Kaysville; Craig and Evelyn Ivie. Green River; Put and Peggy Diller, St George. Every family member except Colby Clayburn served a mission in England and Clint Petersen served in Houston Texas. Cristy and Charlie Davis are from West Valley. On Nov. 16, Tammy Haslem, daughter ofVerl and Leah Haslem ofWhiterocks, and Jason Kelly, son of Lloyd and Lee Neilsen, ofNeola, flew to Kauai, in the Hawaiian Islands and were married. After an exciting 5 day honeymoon they returned to Utah and are now living about 12 mile from the Verl Haslems. Tammys 3 children, ages 5, 4, and 1 were taken care of in Heber city' by Grandma Julie Connary. The lady i - V - - Pare 17 He married Tessie Ludle Ivie December 4, 1931 in the Strawberry River valley. She died July 26, 1974. Married Vera Mower Birch September 9, 1975 in Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife, Vera; ment Reed Richens of Myton, son of Alton and Celia is still in the hospital. Celia reports that he is still Semi Conscious, he goes in and out and they said he could be there for at least three months. Ada Lusty of Arcadia left on Saturday, Nov. 22, and flew to California to spend Thanksgiving with her daughter Jean and her fiunily. Shelby and Michell Summerell are the proud parents of a son, bora Nov. 17. He will be named Shaydon. Shaydon has two brother's Casey and MaClane waiting for him at home. Muir Ralph Frank "Dick" Muir, age 87 of Apple Valley, near St George, and Duchesne, died November 28, 1997 at his home in Apple Valley. He was born March 4, 1910 in Daniels, Wasatch Co., Utah to George and Elizabeth Wheeler Muir. He was preceded in death by his wife Ludle, two sons, Alan and Leon, 3 grandchildren - Gary Baum, Lori Baum, and Kathleen Miles; one great granddaughter, Jenny Miles; two stepsons - Mont and John Mower. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 3, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Hul linger Olpin Mortuary, 457 East 300 North, Roosevelt, where friends may call 2 hours prior to the services. Burial in the Strawberry Cemetery. State Parks announce new camping reservation policy Ut Utah State Parks and Recreation announced a new camping reservation policy, effective immediately. Individual camping reservations will now be accepted up to 16 weeks prior to a campers departure date. Reservations for group sites maybe made up to 11 months in advance from the date of a groups arrival. While these changes will create some inconvenience in the short term, Reservation Manager Karen Marxo reports the new policy will better serve customers over the long term.
