The Roosevelt FFA Chapter held their Greenhand and Chapter Ceremony November 18, at the UBATC Ag. building. Members who received the Greenhand Degree include:. Brandy Moore, Tom Henderson, Jamie Carlson, Terrance Larsen, Tyrel Killian, and Coby Schurs. Some of the requirements for the Chapter Degree are: enrollment Vocational Agriculture Agribusiness Class, participate in at least three FFA activities, lead a group discussion for fifteen minutes, have received the Greenhand degree, and earn at least $50 or worked 50 hours on SAOEP. These two awards are given at the local level. They are prerequisites to the state FFA Degree, the highest award given at the state level, and the American FFA Degree given at the National level.
