Donate gifts to help out Veterans The American Legion Auxiliary Post 22, Duchesne are working to bring a joy filled holiday to veterans who are hospitalised and are counting on community donations to help out Auxiliary members are placing donation boxes in Duchesne and Rooeevelt The donations will be picked up Nov. 20 and taken to the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City to be displayed in a gift shop where hospitalized veterans can chose the donated gift items to give to their family members for the holidays. The Auxiliary is asking for donations that will make suitable gifts for teenagers and adults. Donation boxes will be placed at Kohls in Duchesne, and Ben Franklin and Alco in Rooeevelt. leader of the Church, during the recent General Conference. Thanks to Bobby Chapoose first on the scene and for his fast responsie in calling 911. The ICU nursing staf are unquestionably the most knowledgeable and patient people in the world. The floor nurses were the greatest and very understanding. Our experience with the entire Hospital staf was excellent. What a great bunch! . . . . Thanks alsoto the many members of the law enforcement community in the Basin that stopped in to visit Katrina. Many thanks to trooper Annette Hatch for your special trip to the house and to Trooper Troy mare, Katrinas "buddy for your many visits and thoughtfulness.
