Meanwhile, holiday concerts will also be performed by various musical groups each night during the holiday season, except Christmas Eve, Christmas day and New Year's Eve. Local athletes earn medals In Senior Games Kerilyn Lowe Johnson Roosevelt native cast in Les Mis Kerilyn Lowe Johnson will sing the role of Fan tine in the Scera production of "Les Miserables" the concert version on Nov. 13, 15. "We have a dream cast Tve had to do so little. Theyre just every bit as good as Broadway company," said Gayle Lockwood the musical director. Kerilyn was chosen as one of the eight principals from 350 people who auditioned. This is a dream of a lifetime" said Johnson. Kerilyn lives in Pleasant Grove with her husband Olen, daughter Savanna and 3 week old son Porter. She is a part-tim- e faculty member at BYU teaching private vocal instruction. In addition to teaching at BYU she teaches private voice and singing, performing groups. Three Uintah County residents captured medals at the 11th Annual Hunatman World Senior Games in St George. Shar Benson, 63, Ballard, won a bronze medal in golf; Merlin Richens, 61, Vernal Utah, claimed silver and bronze medals in horseshoes; and Grant Richens, 63, Vernal earned one gold medal and two ailver medals in horseshoes. About 8,900 participants from 50 states and 28 countries competed at the Huntsman World Senior Games. This year's com petition was Oct 13-2-4 in southwest Utah. The games this year included competition in 17 events basketball (also and free throw), triathlon (individual and team), bowling, cycling, golf, horseshoes, racquetball, bridge, road racing, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, volleyball mountain biking, and various track and field events. The games offer banquets and other social events; healthy living seminars; medical screenings; and specials speakers. Pioneer exhibit to open at LDS museum of Church History Fourteen artists - students and faculty members of Brigham Young University - will ezhibit their artwork of South Pass, Wyoming, at tha LDS Museum of Church History and Art beginning Saturday, Nov. 8. Museum Director Glen M. Leonard said the ezhibit will run through January 11, 1998. The exhibit represents the responses of the artists who spent throe days last October at South Pass, Wyoming.
