They went sight seeing and saw Banks 53 stories high. They enjoyed three hours on a boat called Catawba Queen in Lake Norman North Carolina. The lake is 168 miles long and 153 feet deep, with beautiful hones on both sides ofthe lake. Don Muse, 57, Tridell, died suddenly Monday morning of a massive heart attack. He was taken by ambulance to the Duchesne County Hospital in Roosevelt. Funeral services were held Thursday in the Vernal 9th Ward and burial in the Maeser Cemetery. Recently the children of H. LeRoy Morrill held a family reunion. Nine' of the eleven children and their spouses were present. They visited pants of interest in the Ballard, Tridell and Vernal area. On the last day they went to the Mormon Miracle Pageant held in Manti, UT. Maxine McKee took her son DeVin to the Salt Lake Airport Monday to accompany the Eric Shumway family back to Laie, Hawaii for two weeks. The Shumways have visited their daughter Merrilli and Darwin McKee in Tridell and attended a' Shumway reunion in St John, Arizona. The Tridell community held an enjoyable July 24, Thursday with many attending from Tridell and other areas. The Primary started off the day with a trek through the hills with their small covered wagons and by foot and then by making a parade up main street The celebration was held at the Tridell Park under the pavilion. Lynn Cook family reunion was held in Tridell for three days beginning Thursday. Members from all over the Western states were in attendance. It was held at the Merlin McKee home and grounds. Approximately 140 family members attended. TTie Clark McKee family and part of the Michael Gray family from Lehi went to the High Uintahs last week on a fishing trip and horse camp. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wallace celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by all their families going into the mountains for this occasion. All their children and grandchildren were in attendance. The Gene Williams family, Ferron Utah have been visiting the Gene Wallace family. When they got home from Provo their daughter Jan Bellon, came from San Diego to stay with them and go to her Class Reunion at Union High School. The George E. Simmons reunion was held at Ralph Prescotts home in NdbLa last weekend. Those who came were Ora Morrill from La Verkin, Ut; some of her family, Farrell Simmons from Tridell; and his family, Don Simmons, Arvin Simmons from Naples; Lula Holt from St. George ' and Verrena Prescott, Neola, Elvis and Ardella have passed away. Evelyn Swarta is in a Day Caro Center in Orem. The Alfred and Wanda Ivie descendants held their family reunion at the Town Hall this weekend. Viola Defa returned hone this weekend after spending a couple weeks in Salt Lake with Jay and Sharon Giles.
