Roosevelt was scheduled to play West Jordan, Sat-- . urday, August 2. Helper and Roosevelt are probably sick of locking at each other with the two teams splitting a doubleheader, Monday, July 28 Rooseyelt winning 4 on Shane and then Helper Smuins rallying in the bottom of the seventh for a 2 win. Roosevelt duplicated the score to gain the precious second win. Roosevelt wss 6--2 this season vs. Helper. Ryan Abplanalp had two hits and scored two big runs, said Roosevelt Coach Steve Malnar. ' Abplanalp, Malnar were walked. Abplanalp stole second base and then scored on a wild pitch in the first inning for a 0 lead. Helper tied up the game at 1 in the first and then Tosh Grant scored to give Helper a 1 edge in the third. . However, Roosevelt refused to return home empty handed. Clint Gardner hit a line shot off the Helper second baseman's glove and Tucker Caldwell singled in the fourth.
