The clinic spans eight sessions held weekly on Tuesday evenings. The girls session will be held at 6 - 7 JO p.m. and the boys session will be held at 7:30 - 9 p.m. The clinic includes explosiveness and jumping development as well as circuit training techniques to increase speed, agility, and quickness that are applicable to all types of sports. The cost for the clinic is $160 for the eight sessions. Since enrollment is limited to 50 participants, individuals are encouraged to register early. Green River overflowed in the first game vs. LapointWhiterock Vernal for a 0 lead going into the final inning of action, but the Vernal team refused to quit. Jace Mecham, the teams starting pitcher, opened the sixth with a single 5-- Green River jumped out to a 0 lead in the first inning and held the advantage for most of the 'game. Bowman Mitchell led off with a single and then scored on a passed ball. Michael May hall opened the fourth with a super shot over the fence for a 2--0 lead and then Ren Hatt used his bat for a base hit Hatt capped off the offensive explosion with a third run when he scored on Mitchell's sacrifice fly for a 3--0 fourth inning advantage. Seth Medina helped himself with a aingle to load up the bases, but Helper couldnt help themselves. The final batter struck out Troy Grundy gunned down the opposition in the fourth as he struck out the side with biasing pitches, and then Helper produced two singles in a row. Jones struck the baae-ba- ll with all his power, but Green Rivers infield helped out their team with a thrilling tripleplay. The shortstop snared the pop fly, fired the ball to second for the double and then the second baseman made a throw to first base for outs right in a row that had baseball fans simply Baying, "Wow! . 4-- The tripleplay forced Helper to settle for less than it wanted and then Baylesa gave Green Rivermuch more with a lead off homer in the top of the fifth for a 5--4 advantage. First batter up in the fifth, Lewis doubled and then Helper didnt ay over being a victim of a triplepla- ythey just pulled off their own tripleplay with a bat instead of a glove. Jorgensen sapped a shot just inside the right field line for a triple that sent home Lewis with a 5 tie. A few seconds later a bad throw to third resulted in Jorgensen scoring the game winning run at 6-Grundy ended the game in exciting fashion by striking out the final batter for 7 Ks in three innings.
