Bowden, age 80, of Roosevelt, died Monday, January 27, 1997 at the Uintah Basin Medical Center. He was bom December 6, 1916 in Roosevelt to Joseph Hyram and Anna Christine Jensen Bowden. He married Glenna Elder Ju)y 8, 1949 in Roosevelt Solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple January 28, 1964. He loved fanning and so his work was also a pleasure to him and it was his pride and joy to care far his machinery. In his younger years before he .was married, he lived about ten years in Price and worked in the cad mines. Later he worked as a truck driver, hauling timber off the mountain. He also worked in Roosevelt at Buchanan Feed for some seventeen years. In his mare time he enjoyed watching the boys as they competed in rodeos and wrestling. He is survived by his wife: Glenna, of Roosevelt; children and spouses: Sherry and Glenn Musick, Provo; Peggy and John Gardner, Roosevelt; David and Bobbi Bowden, Roosevelt; Joe and Linda Bowden, Oil City, PA; Stephen MO; Bowden, Independence, Debbie and Ron Stanley, Roosevelt; 5 18 grandchildren; great grandchildren; a brother Chris' Bowden Lewiston, ID; and a sister. Elsworth Louis Tailfeathers, age 46, of Seattle and formerly of he Fort Duchesne area died January 26, 1997 in a Seattle health facility. He was bam on June 8, 1950 m Fort Duchesne to Louis A. Tailfeathers and Wanda Appons Tailfeathers. He grew up in Duchesne. He was bom October 5, 1919 in LaPoint to Guy Alfred and Lucy Ann Perks Long. He married Dortha Ruth Beal March 22, 1947 in Elko, Nevada, later divorced. Richard lived in Salt Lake City for many years where he worked for Albertsons grocery story. After moving to Roosevelt he worked for Roosevelt City. He is survived sons and bjjr Wright, daughters. Wilson Elizabeth (Bessie) Thomas James Williams, 100 year old mother, grandmother, and friend left this frail existence on Feb. 1, 1997, due to her age at the Cedar Crest Care Center in Roosevelt, Utah. Bessie was born on May 31, 1896 in Paradise, Utah to John Pugh James and Sarah Jane Thomas. She married Thomas Ellis Williams on her birthday in 1916 at the Logan LDS Temple. Together they had six children, Lamant, Dwight, a stillborn infant, Ruth, Elizabeth, and Lucile. She lived her early life in the Cache Valley area. Latter they moved to California and ran their own business. Her husband died in 1964 and a few yean later she moved to Ogden where she was dose to her sister. She lived in the same until in 1993, she was unable to live alone anymore and moved into the Que Center in Roosevelt Bessie loved to travel and to see new places. When she was 80 yean old she went to stay with her daughter in Mexico for a while. To reach Lucile's ranch they would have to ride donkeys several miles, not an easy trm for a lady who never wore anything except a dress. She never felled to get up in the morning, put on a fine dress, make- up and jewelry. She was always an elegant lady, friendly and kind to all who came in contact with her. Bessie was preceded in death by her husband Tom, a son Dwight, two daughters Ruth and a Terrodta Sophia "Tiny" Wilson, age 16, of Randles, died February 2, 1997 in the Uintah Basin Medical Center after a lifetime of health problems. She was born July 17, 1980 in Roosevelt to Andrew Paul Wilson, Sr. and Karen Acuttoroop Wilson. She had attended Gonamore school and the Uintah Learning Center. She loved Mickey Mouse, riding a special 3 wheeler, playing with her friends and her favorite movie was LaBamba. She is survived by her father, Andrew, of San Diego, mother and step father, Karen Wilson and Mike Crowder, of Randlett; grandfather, Charles Sireech of LaPoint; a brother, Andrew Paul "Buddy Wilson Jr. and sister, Kathiran "Kitty". Wilson, both Randlett; nieces and nephews, Lanessa, Tesha, Lysa, Sky, and Tyler boy; many many cousms. Gracia was bora February 18, 1903 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Effie Lang and John w. Gray. At age 8 she traveled by wagon with her brother George, her mother and her step father Andrew Petersen to homestead on Blue Bench, in Duchesne, Utah. Married Orin Niels Olsen in Duchesne July 30, 1919. He died June 29, 1951. Nine children were barn of the marriage. Survived by four daughters Geneva (Dean) Mitchell of Blue Lake, California; Flora (Joe) Dalpiaz of Kearns, Utah; Beverly (Frank) Uiesfc of Myton, Utah; and Alberta (Floyd) Smith of Salt Lake City, Utah; Her sister Pearl (Fred) Keefe of Price, Utah; her brother of Bud (Cheryl) Thompson Bountiful, Utah; her brother-in-laBill Biles of Florida; 17 grand children; 48 great grand children; 22 great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
