The tour commemorates the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the Mormon pioneers in the Great Salt Lake Valley. The 1997 Sesquicentennial Tour will also include conceits in Cedar Gty, SL Geoige. Ephraim, Logan, Price, Ogden and Salt Lake City, according to Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Council of the Twelve Apostles, who is the chaiiman of the Sesquicentennial Committee for the Church of Jesus Saints. Nominations sought for Utah Womens Achievement Awards Celebration of Womens Histoy Month, the Governor's Commission for Women and Families is seeking nominations for the second annum Utah Womens Achievement Awards. "Womens History Month is a great time for us to honor those women who have waked hard to make theif comtAuhities better fa families and their children, neighbors,1' stated Jan Bennett, chair of the Governor's Commission for Women and Families. "There are so many remarkable women who set examples for others to follow." Nominees should be women, past and present who have made significant contributions to Utah.
