Show Page 16 - UINTAH BASIN STANDARD. November 17. 1992 J. Bywater Joseph Mylan Bywater, 86, passed away Tuesday, November' 10, in Layton. He was born March 9, 1906 in Brigham, a son of Joseph Robert and Alice Bradford Bywater. He married Laura Warburton July 26, 1933 in Vernal. He was reared in Myton and had lived all of his adult life in the e area. He was a veteran of World War 11, serving with the UJ3. Army. He worked as a carpenter. He was a member of the Syracuse Seventh LDS Ward. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening and wood work. He was a member ofthe Carpenters Union. He is survived by his wife, of Syracuse; one brother and one sister, Lawrence Bywater, Myton; and Marie Payne, Orem; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 14, at the Syracuse Seventh LDS Ward chapel. Interment was in the Lapaint Cemetery. Funeral directors, Lindquists Clearfield, Utah Mortuary. Crow Agnes LaPreal Lindsay Morrell, beloved mother and grandmother, 75, Lehi, died November 4 at her home. She was bom May 18, 1917 in Mountain Home to George Geddes Lindsay II and Rose Mary Thompson Lindsay. She married Kenneth Morrell October 15, 1936 in Mountain Home. They were later di- Ray C. Crow, Sr., age 64 of Montwel, Utah, died November 13, 1992 at his home after a long illness. He was bom February 28, 1928 in Monarch, Utah to John Clarence and Beatrice Olive Williams Crow. He married Clea Pace September 10, 1948 in Neola. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and really loved to go to the mountains and just be in the outdoors. He liked forming and loved people and had a very positive, cheerful attitude. Ray was a special man. He is survived by his wife, Clea, Montwel; daughter and her husband, Sheryl and Ken Brunner, ' Anchorage, AK; son, Ray C. Crow, Jr., Montwel; three grandchildren: Jenni, Rebel, and Lance; brothers and sisters, Charley and Vaudis Crow, Vernal; Evelyn and Louis Loranger, Montwel; Cleo and Les Kerr, and Fred Crow, Vernal. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters: Lloyd Crow, Catherine Brown, and Grace Page. Funeral services held Tuesday, November 17, 1992, 1 p.m. at the Roosevelt LDS 7th Ward Chapel. Burial in the Cedarview Cemetery under the direction of Mortuary. vorced. She was a homemaker and had been employed at Deseret Pharmaceutical Co. for ten years. She loved gardening, flowers and reading books. She is survived by one daughter, Myrna Thompson, Lehi; ten grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters, Bob and James Lindsay, Mountain Home; Mrs. Harold (Molly) Clark, Mrs. Keith (Margaret) McDonald, and Mrs. Kyle (Rose) Swallow, Salt Lake; and Mrs. Harold (Belle) Ralphs, St. Geoige. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary Benson; two grandsons and one great grandson. Funeral was held Saturday, November 7, in the Lehi th Ward LDS chapel. Burial, Mountain Home Cemetery. Graveside services also held November 7. 8-- I ( Tracy Roberts - Hullin-ger-Olp- in I 848-541- 7 . Jesse Roberts, Shiloh Rhoodes and Jan Gines left Sunday for Washing- ton D.C. for the Close Up. They will return home Saturday. Lee Gines was the advisor and went with them. Amber Park, Misty Lefler, Shana Price, Karen Rhoodfes, Dustin Webb, Daniel Van Tassell and Robert Park left Tuesday for Kansas, Missouri for the FFA Convention. They will return home Saturday. The annual Halloween carnival was held Saturday, October 31, at the Tabiona School. The PTA said they would like to thank everyone who supported it. Mr. and Mrs. Don Pebble went to Salt Lake Wednesday, where they visited their family. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Lindsay, Salt Lake, visited Carole and Jeff Jones over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. A1 Roberts, Salt Lake, spent the weekend at their home in Tabiona. Hozel Defa and Maxine Penrod returned home after spending a couple weeks in Wyoming and Salt Lake. Sharon Giles and daughter, Windy, and husband, ofSalt Lake, spent the weekend in Tabiona and Hanna visiting Viola Defa and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Price. Allen and Betty Young, Salt Lake and Hanna, celebrated their golden anniversary November 7. Their children, Terry and Gail Young, Christy and Fred Van Wagner and Scott Young, hosted a dinner at Archebalds Restaurant for family members. Max Giles and grandson, Brad ShirtlifT, Salt Lake, spent the weekend in Hanna; Mr. and Mra. Delyle Giles, Salt Lake, are spending a week in Hanna and Tabiona taking care of Leo Defa and Grace Giles. Womacks recently sold their home and moved to Ashley Perk. Last week Wendy Betts gave a birthday party for her son, Tyrol. It was a Dinosaur Party, including games, prizes, refreshments and a dinosaur hunt. Attending Tyrol fifth birthday were Danny Abeg-gleMandy Bastian, Nephi Shaw, David Peterson, Shalleena Hamblin and Tyrols brothers. The children also went to Dannys house to see the mountain lion; and after it was tranquilized, Tyrol got to pet it The seventh ward Merrie Miss and mom party was held Saturday at Lynn Mechams home in Cedar-vieThe girls enjoyed a movie and homemade pizza. They presented their guests with baskets of goodies. Special guests were Dorothy Powell, Sherry Bair, Vicki Hamilton and Ruth Haslem, Primary president Six girls and their moms also attended. Bill Nelsons company during the weekend were grandson, Derrick Miller, Salt Lake; friend, Myra Robinson, and also grandson, Ted Retchards, Salt Lake. Penny Shaw and children, Joe, Amy, James and Nephi, motored to Provo to spend a couple of days with son, Dennis, and family. Janice Bradshaw, granddaughter, Heather, and dad, James Powell, were in Salt Lake to attend a James Powell immediate family dinner held at Pioneer Park. Six out of seven brothers and sisters were present along with 80 relatives at the A cousin, Levera 86, was the eldest present. Snow. "I would like to see some homes in Roosevelt." Snow reported that Ogden has agreed to six homes and Provo three. Moab has agreed to take part in the proposal and Salt Lake City is still discussing the matter. City Coundlpersons stated that they will work on the proposal and tiy to find funds to provide one or two homes.
