Caps are my favorite sports item because you can easily store them and they are handy to use as decorations for your room. Also they keep the rain off your head and hide a bad haircut Years ago Rod Stewart had a song entitled: "Every Picture Tells A Story." Well, the saying pretty much applies here except for one word change: "Every Cap Tells A Story!" Back in 1985 1 had a dream come true when I was able to see my first ever Major League baseball game. I saw three games in five days as I visited the Dodgers, Angels and Padres at their home stadiums in Southern California. I capped off the baseball games hy purchasing as much head gear as possible. I insulted the Dodgers by requesting a Yankee cap, and I'm lucky they didn't kick my cushion out of the stadium. know how to turn on the machine in the first place, to toss it in for a visit with wash, rinse and spin. The cap was nice and clean. However, it lost its shape and form and wasnt tough enough to to handle the water boy. I donated the old cap to my dad. I told him it was his birthday present. Just kidding- -I also gave him sane baseball cards and cans of tomato Bailee for his first class spaghetti. My Denver Bronco cap has caused all-st- ar Please dont tell me any more bad jokes about the Broncos blowing a Super Bowl game once again, and how they missed out on getting their photo on a box ofWheaties. At least the Portland Trailblazers have Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls to blame. One cap I have never purchased is a BYU one. You are probably asking "Y"? My answer is a "Utah Man Am I". The most important reason is: "I dont want to make my little sister cry! She haB even rooted s against BYU when they had and Italians on the Cougar team. She is a No. 1 Utah fan and might bum the BYU cap with my head in it if I wore one. Croa-tian- if was off to San Diego where I picked up a 1984 World Series cap. However, that World Series cap has caused me a few problems. I will be at a local event and someone will say: "Who won the World Series in 1984?" I answer "Detroit in five games over San Diego and then wonder why I was asked that question out of the dear blue sky. Later I realized I was wearing my World Series cap. Kail Malone, the Jazz power forward, is a rough tough forward. His ball cap with The Mailman" printed on it as well as an autograph isnt as powerful. It was wiped out by a washing machine. The cap was dirty, and I was advised by my brother-in-lawho doesnt even champ, DHS prepares for tourney 3-- A After the games against Morgan and Ogden, Union will travel to Union High School returns only Manti fix' a practice contest against one starter, who was a member of the squad, December 4.
