Postal Service will not deliver tax returns with insufficient postage. This reminder from the Utah State Tax Commission is particularly important to remember this year with a postal rate increase Sunday, April 3. Tax returns mailed on or after April 3 must have 25 cents of postage for the first ounce, approximately six sheets ofpaper. The rate for each additional ounce, up to 12 ounces, is 20 cents per ounce. The Tax Commission, however, will honor the earliest postmark on the envelope.
