The couple plan to make their home in Lapoint. munityEven Glance Bessie Tait Wardle will celebrate her 90th birthday on Friday, April A at the home of her daughter, Dorothy Madsen, 55 North 800 East, Venice, Utah. Friends and invited to call between family the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. She will also visit with friends and family on Sunday, April 10, at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Karan Jorgan, Salt Lake City. Bessie was bom April 8, 1898, in Frontier, Lincoln County, Wyoming. She moved with her family to Roosevelt in 1915. She married Ervin Wardle September 26, 1918, in Vernal. The Wardles helped to build the Lake Fork Flower Plant in Upalco as well as the plant in Uintah Canyon. Ervin helped run many of the power lines in the ana. They had four children: Ervin Tait and Jean Julian, both killed in an automobile accident; Dorothy Ann and William Keith. In 1926 the Wardles bought s home in Roosevelt Bessie winked at Ashtons in Vernal during World War 2, and later worked at many Roosevelt businesses. When her husband retired, she bought the Indian curio shop in Roosevelt, and continued to run it after her husband passed away in 1971, and until sne retired at age 82. But this year Union combined the Junior Rom with the Senior BaB, largely as an economical measure. The dance was held at East Elementary Saturday night, April 9, and from all evidence the combination was a bride-to-b- attending Utah Technical College, where she is mqjoring in early childhood development Royalty was selected from among the junior and senior classes.
