He was a veteran of World War H, serving in the Army Air Corp. He loved gardening, woodworking, reading, chess, antique cars and playing bridge. He was a member of the Vernal Duplicate Bridge Club. He retired from Chevron Oil Company and lived in Rangely, Colorado for 23 years.
