November 27, 1966 Cutter Association races scheduled With first signs of cold weather comes a flurry of excitement and anticipation to the Uintah Basin, aa Cutter Association members are seen traveling to and from the race track with those funny looking little wagons loaded in the beds of their pickups and pulling horse trailers. All this activity signals the start of the annual Chariot Racing season scheduled to begin, the first weekend in December. Most of the colt team owners are working their two year olds on the track and have begun the process of gate training. Many of these colts are beginning to show real promise in preparation for the grueling race meets ahead. In the aged horse division (3 years and up), there will be some interesting competition.
