Good height and experience are what Jarrett is expected to bring the team. New talent to the team include Mike Olsen, coming back after being out all last year due to a knee Injury. Olsen will more than likely be a release guard. Two sophomores are also right in there for the race as starters, six foot four inch Gary Wabel and aggressive Trent Larsen. Both of these youngsters will give any senior a real run for the starter slot. Vallentina also pointed to several returning JV players as well. Merrill Fauaett, Tracy Ross, Eddie Samuels, Bryan Allred, Rod Meaenan, Andy Yergenaen and Buff Harmston an all members of the Cougar team; some are returning JV and others are trying out for the running winter spent this year.
