Marty Mantyla He waa born April 2, 1967 in Rooeevelt to Dr. Donald O. and Colleen' Clyde Mantyla. He married Launa Grover Jane 8, John Martin Marty" Man tyla, age 28, of Roosevelt died Temple. He waa an active member 1984 . in the Salt Lake LDS of the LDS Church, he ,waa serving as the 1st Counselor in the Young Mena Presidency of the Ballard North Ward, and was the young mens basketball coach. He had served a mission to Japan, Nagoya; had been the Stake Sports Director. He was an avid golfer, winning many tournaments and an active participant in basketball Ha also enjoyed electronics. He was bofn December 19, 1937 in Patt, Colorado to Urn Fount and Hazel Virginia Mort Frost. Married Ludlk Linn Karaey February 22, 1968 in LaJunta, Colorado. He waa e former and rancher. He used to be an avid rodeo contestant, and is a director of the Utah High School Rodeo Association and waa an advisor for the Uintah Basin High School Rodeo Club in Vernal He was a past director of the Ouray Park Irrigation Co., director and fanner President of Little Sandy Grazing Association in Wyoming. He was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed by them end all who knew him. He is survived by hie wife, Lucille, of Randlett; hie eon in law and daughter, Jesse and Mary Linn Blanchard pf Lapoint; son Joe Shane Frost, attending U.S.U. in Logan and a grandson Kristopher Jesse Blanchard. Mecham, age 63, of Duchesne died November 2, 1985 in a Salt Lake Hospital of Cancer. He wee bom May 18, 1932 in Tabiona, to Brigham Warren end Sylvia Clegg Mecham. Married Betty Shelton in Elko, Nevada. They wen married 21 year and later divorced. He waa e certified barber and bartered in Duchesne. He also farmed end enjoyed hunting and being in the out of doors. He is survived by eons and daughters: Gary Don Mecham and Darwin A. Mecham both of Duchesne; Mr. Don (Jeanette) Hackfbrd, Roger Clegg Mecham, Mrs. Luke (Sabrina) Hawkins 11 of Roosevelt; Derek Shelton Mecham of Duchesne. Nine grandchildren and hie mother of Duchesne; Brothers and sisters: Mrs. Wade (Marie) Wilkins, Colorado Springs; Mrs. Selby (Beulah) Williams, Salt Lake City; Gladys I vie.
