This grant will expedite the disribution of . , . unemployment benefits to those are looking for new employ- ment," Hatch said, Hatch said 85 states applied for grant totaling $45 million. But only 27 states won awards for a total of $19,992,908 in grants. Grants were awarded to states on the basis of merit. Orrin Hatch, Chairman of the Senate'Labor and Human es Committee, which oversees DOL programs. The criteria, according to DOL, include lack of funding from other sources, the urgency of request, automation of unemployment insurance offices and improvements in office operations, and the ability to pay back the grant. I sense that many people are interested in hastening the day when all children may be liom whole and healthy. He received a fine pair of field glasses, a beautiful blanket for him and his wife Maxine, a sentimental picture arrangement of several pistol teams he has shot with from Sergeant . Les Langford. Also Golf Balls, cards, etc. A fine poem was written about 'him- by Sheriff Arden Stewart. All these things will be - held so dear in memory. Many contributed .for the gifts.
