Whether it remains intact is up to usl It has been said that whatever we would have our children become, we should strive to exhibit in our own lives and conversation. When we attempt to impress upon our children the importance of an education, and then neglect the individuals and institutions given the task, we are providing little motivation for our youth. Education is never an easy process. It is never easy because it never endsl The ability to learn remains with humans their entire life. What a shame it is to assume the education the educational process ends after high school or college. As we begin National Education Week, let us examine our attitudes toward education. We can, and should share in the education of our youth. A small investment this next week, and some attention thereafter, could provide for overwhelming returns. Get involved this week in your school. Who knows? You may learn something! tion. The week of November 15-2-0 has been Education National as Week. In designated an effort to recognize this week, and what it stands for, the Duchesne County Education Association has planned various activities at schools in Duchesne County. This next week Abbot Lawrence Lowell, an American educator once said, "Too much attention has been paid to making education attractive by smoothing the path as compared with inducing strenuous voluntary effort." We expect great things from our educational system, but all too often we expect the education system to accomplish everything. The education of our youth is not something which can be taken lightly. It should never be assumed that ever increasing amounts of money will maintain an educational system which will benefit our youth.
