Nile Mathison presented Darlene Frost with a saddle which took a sweepstakes ribbon, trophy and a $15 gift certificate in the crafts division. There were only 20 first places out of 300 projects, only three superior ratings and one sweepstakes in crafts. The students were able to view the different projects from tto Reynolds posed next to the projects that won honors for the Union High team Cedar City.
