Show Thursday, November 6, 1980 ' A. Taylor ; Alma Earl Taylor, 71, of Altamont, died Oct 9, 1980 at home. He was born B. Owens Kohl Jan. Bessie Owens Kohl, 80, died Nov. s Heber City hospital. She was born Sept. 19, 1900 in Randlett to Hugh and Kitty Wade Owens. She married George & Kohl, who preceded her in death in June, 1968. Mrs. Kohl served as Duchesne County Treasurer and was instrumental in establishing the Duchesne Clinic. She served u chairperson of the Duchesne County Red Cross and was president of the Duchesne High School . Band Mothers' Association. Mrs. Kohl also contributed to the Wasatch County Art Council. Survivors include: daughters, Mrs. Elroy. (Owens) Van Wagoner, Heber City, and Mrs. Norma Rae Grant, Salt Lake; sister and brothers, Mrs. Helen Oceanside, Walter Ore., Sabey, Owens, Salt Lake, Owen Owens, Cortex, Colo, Alfred Owens, Colorado Springs, Cola, and Rhodell Owens, Peoria, I1L Mrs. Kohl had three grandchildren and two Funeral services were held Wednesday in Heber. Burial followed in the Heber City Cemetery. A. Babcock Allan B. Babcock, 57, of Salt Lake City died Monday, Nov. 8, from injuries received in an automobile accident west of Duchesne. He was born Nov. 4, 1922 in Myton to Lionel and Naomi Brown Babcock. Mr. Babcock married Irene Wilcox-so- n and was later divorced. He then married Ollie Jean Willmore, Nov. 2, 1959 and was divorced. He was employed by PIE Trucking Company for 28 years and was a veteran of World War H, having served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include: daughters and son, Mrs. Terry (Gaytha). Broom, Vernal, Sarah Jo Hathenbruek, Salt Lake, and Allan W. Babcock, West Valley City; his mother of Myton; brother and sisters, Lowell F. Babcock, Washington, Mrs. Jim (Nine) Armstrong, Honolula, Hawaii and Robin Rasmussen, Sandy. He was preceded in death by brother, John David. He is also survived by four grandchildren. Han berg, Phillip R. Thompson, and Stephen W. D. Pigeon David Pigeon, 48, of Neola, died Monday, Nov. 8, in a Roosevelt nursing home. He was born Aug. 24, 1982 in Fort Duchesne to Alson and Claudia Atwine Pigeon. Survivors include a sister, Elaine Lee, Neola three nieces and three nephews.
