Wednesday Nov. 12 7:00 p.m. Get More Use From Your Microwave Classical music lovers ready for Triad concert Classical music lovers in Roosevelt and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to liaten to the classical combination of piano, clarinet and cello on Saturday, Nov. 15, when the Roosevelt Community Fine Arts Council brings Triad to town. The trio is formed with Rick Nobis, Christie Lundquiat and Ryan Selberg, and is one of the ensembles sponsored through the Utah Rural Arts Consortium, a touring program of the Utah Fine Arts Council, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts. Each of the musicians in Triad is accomplished in his or her field. Both (clarinet) and Selberg Lundquiat (cello) are Drincinals with the Utah Symphony, and Nobis is a frequent guest pianist with the Utah Symphony and is a new member of the Salt Lake Chamber Ensemble. The trio was formed early in 1979 and has since enjoyed both artistic and popular successes all over Utah. In addition to their thoughtfully elected program, Triad brings to their audience historical aH humorous anecdotes to round out the musical experience. Ticket prices for the evening concert of Triad are $3 for adults and 12 for children. Family rates are available. The performance begins at 8 school p.m. in Ahe Union high auditorium.
