Show 1 Neighborhood sewing club Mrs. BUn Eldrodgs entertained the Neighborhood Sewing Chib at her home Wednesday evening. Ten members enjoyed handiwork, visiting and a naiad luncheon. Home wedding for Tabiona wedding for area couple i local couple Miss Cathy Jo Boone became the bride of Michael Shane Locke in a ceremony performed at the home of the brides parents, July 18, with Rev. Troy Richardson, pastor of Roosevelt Baptist Church, officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe H. Boone, Roosevelt Parents of the groom are William L Locke and Mrs. Joyce Locke, also Roosevelt The setting for the double-rin- g ceremony was decorated with baskets of blue and white daisies. The bridal ' party stood before a fireplace. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white chiffon. Her ensemble included a bracelet which had belonged to her maternal and pearl earrings grandmother, belonging to a cousin. Gidget Calhoun sang, "Thank You For Loving Me," dedicated to the bride's parents by the bride. Following the ceremony, Mrs. Calhoun sang, Walk In This World With Me." Kandy Arnold was maid of honor. She wore a floor length gown of powder blue, with a corsage of blue daisies. Terry Smith served as best man to the groom. VFW ladies to meet Aug. 15 The Ladies Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9275, will meet Aug. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Moon Lake Electric building. All members are urged to attend the meeting, pick up their membership cards, and have them stamped with the Auxiliary stamp. One national officer and four state officers were special guests at last months meeting.
