Arthur Timothy drove the bus for all three wards. e Guests at the home of Dallas and Arda Ames over Memorial weekend were Maynard and Grace Agnew, and Terry and Paula Bartholamew and baby, all Salt Lake. e Florence and Tom Nunley and family, and Cary and Diane Nelson Sandy, spent the Memorial weekend with Law- rence and May Weeks. e Nan and Dannie Cottle and family, Douglas, Ariz., are here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dar Brotherson. Nan will stay here and Dannie will be working ' in Salt Lake for three or four weeks. e Last week Mr. and Mrs. Miles Peterson came to visit their daughter, Maurine and IjtMar Stevenson and family. They all went boating on Sand Wash and were joined by Sevin and Dora Brunawick and family. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Don Peterson and boys came for boating on Pelican Lake. e Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher, Mr. and Mrs. Max Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Snyder, took their boat and campers to Flaming Gorge and spent Thursday and Friday boating. e Close relatives here for the funeral services of William Brotherson were his mother, Mrs. Annie Brotherson, ML Pleasant, who will be 99 years of age in July; sisters Ila Tidwell, Mt. Pleasant; Mr. and Mrs. Arch (Ann) Hughes, Mesquite, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Oman Olsen (Thelma), Mesquite; Beth's family, Mr. and Mrs. Zenith Cox, Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Rex Cox, Brigham City; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cox, Castle Dale; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne (Elaine) Wil-berCastle Dale; all of his own family and relatives and friends too numerous to mention. 9 The Allred family g, held a family reunion Memorial Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Allred, with potluck dinner in the back yard. There were forty family and members five viritors. e Barbara and Colen Neilson came from Colorado for Memorial Day and attended the Allred reunion. e Mr. and Mrs. Gordon (Sylvia) L. Hudson, Louisiana, spent several days here with her son and family, LaVor Bristol, and a daughter in Vernal, Dixie Allen and her family. e Frank and Phyllis Jessen and family, Sandy, spent Memorial weekend with parents Afton Jessen and Dean and margaret Reay. e Zelva and Morris Goodrich and family, Clinton, spent the Memorial weekend with Max and Melva Allred. They were here for the Allred reunion and also apent time in Bluebell with relatives. e Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Carroll and family and his brother David Carroll, were here for the weekend. They visited Afton Sessen and Clarence and Lola Jones. e Napier and Alice Swasey drove out and Memorkl spent the weekend with Melvin and Dixie Swasey. e Mrs. Clara Rochel spent a couple of days in Orem with her daughter, Frances Allred. e Cardelia Boswell and her sons Jack and Jerry Brown and their famQiea were here for Memorial Day. They visited Zella Bennlon. e Arnold and Maxine Meeham came to decor- ate their graves at ML Emmons and ML Home cemeteries. They had with Edith dinner Burton. e Ferrel and Melba Marcham spent three days in Salt Lake where they went to see his parents off on the plane to spend one year in Norway. e Les and Wins Boswell decorated graves at ML Emmons and Alto-na-h cemeteries, and visited for a while with Ona RusL e Walter and Cleo Richardson and Edna Powell spent the Memorial weekend with Mr. and Mra. Cloyd Powell and Arda Ross. e Whit LaVanger, White Hall, MonL, apent a couple of days with Leon and Mary Dump last week. Their grand- son, Marlon Brown, Spanish Fork, is here to spend the summer and help ouL e Wilda Stevenaon and family and Gena Jessen went to manila Friday to visit her husband, John, who is working there. They stayed until Sunday. e Jack LaRose, Price, took his father to the Veterans hospital last Wednesday. Sue was out Saturday. e Sue Ann LaRose had surgery at the Roosevelt hospital Tuesday. She will be home soon. e Jack and Becky La Rose came 'from Price Saturday to attend Jack's class reunion at the Frontier GriH |
