Show I Miss Wilcox receives Intern at Duchesne Extension Patrice Whitney recently began a Summer Internship with the Duchesne County Extension program. Miss Whitney is from Salt Lake City, and is working on a masters degree in Home Economics Education at Utah State University. She will be aiding Janeen Cook, Duchesne County Extension Home Economist and Agent, during the summer in many programs, including the Duchesne County Fair contests, the clothing clubs and the 4-style dress revue, and the Utah of Education through Housing the Department a Patrice Whitney, newcomer to Duchesne, will serve a Summer Internship with the Duchesne County Extension 4-- program. Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded Community Development Block Grants for Goshute Reservation and Uintah and Ouray Reservations. The grants will be used for housing rehabilitation. The Uintah and Ouray Reservation grant totals $261,000 and the Goshute Reservation grant amount is $252,000. Utah Valley Hospital's weight control program will be starting more classes on July S. Registration will be held Wednesday, June 27, 6:80 to 7:80 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Duchesne County hospital Two classes will be taught - one at 6:80 p.m. and one at 8 p.m. on Tuesday evenings, with enrollment limited to school. per class. v Jean Marie Anderson and Lynne Dawson, both registered dietitians, will teach the classes. It Is Ihe policy of the Ute Indian Tribe to regulate and promote safety for persons and property in connection with the use, operation and equipment of boats and vessels used on waters within the Reservation. In order to promote uniformity of tows, Ihe Utah Boating Ad and Implementary regulations are adopted in major part by reference to serve as the basis for these rules and regulations of the Ute Indian Tribe. Section 2. The following definitions will applyr Utah Code Annotated a. The terms defined in 1953, as amended, shall have the same meaning herein; b. "Tribe" means the Ute Indian Tribe of Ihe Uintah and 73-18-- 2, Ouray Reservation; c. "Busin Tribal Busin Committee" means the Uintah and Ouray Committee; means the d. "Board" Ute Fish and Wildlife Advisory Board; e. "Director" means the Director of the Ute Indian Fish and Wildlife Department; f. "Department" means the Ute Indian Fish and Wi4llife Department; g. "Indian" shall mean any person who Is a member of the Ute Tribe or any other federally recognized Indian tribe, band or community, or the child of any member of the Ute Tribe or any other federally recognized Indian tribe, band or of age, but shall not include those community, regard! roll of ternames whose on the appear persons minated Ute Indians prepared pursuant to 25 U.S.C. 677g; h.
