After 41 years, tfie College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum remains com- -, mitted to preserving and displaying the artifacts pertaining to the geology and archaeology of not only the Castle Valley, but the entire state. In addition to numerous dinosaur exhibits, the museum features a Fremont pit house along with a Ute teepee and several displays depicting the Native American life as it was in the past The facility sponsors museum day and prehistory event activi- ties geared toward youngsters as well as adults. Statistics compiled by the staff at the CEU Prehistoric Museum indicate that visitors come to tour the j facility and participate in events at a rate of 50,000 per year.
