What he failed to realize was that he needed a key card (provided upon payment) to get out of the shower stall. The attorney, trapped Inside the tiny room, yelled and screamed until he was extracted by the campground manager and local law enforcement authorities. The danger In ranting and raving like this Is that I appear to be making unfair generalizations about anyone and everyone who rides a bike or climbs a rock. And, of course, thats exactly what I am doing. But like anyone, my emotions get the best of me from time to time. And like Emerson, I hold a hearty resentment against conformity; I'm sure If he had ever envisioned lycra It would have devastated him. I know my distaste for lycra Is Irrational and unfounded. My friends have explained all the advantages to me -- - the padded seat, reduced chafing, etc., etc., etc. and yet, Just once ... Just once. Id like to see a biker wheel by me In baggy plaid Bermudas, argyle socks, and wlngtlp shoes.
