Show 0 The Sampler, Aug. 9, 1984 News from Morale Support Activities Bowling Alley Winter bowling leagues are now forming for the 198485 season. Anyone wishing to participate this year can sign up on the team rosters at the Bowling Alley. League meetings will be announced at a later date. For additional information contact the Bowling Alley at 2687. Post Pool To celebrate the achieve- ment of all the swimmers who came out and participated in this summers swim- ming classes a swim meet will be conducted August 31. The swim meet is open to all children and enthusiastic swimmers cam sign up now at the Post Pool. The entry fee is $1 and everyone can enter as many events as they, would like. Ribbons will be awarded for the first three places in each event. The meet will Outdoor Rec begin at 1300 hours and will Sign up now for the Hunters Safety Course. The class will be taught if 20 people are interested in it. The cost is $4 per person. For more information call the new Outdoor Recreation Center (building .5441) at 2319. During the afternoon, you may stop at the Teen Club between two and 4 p.m. and register. Cost for thewillprobe gram for new players $14, which includes the cost of a uniform, feeturning players will be charged $7. You may also stop by during the evening hours when the Teen Club is open to register. If you need more informa- tion, or cannot make it by during the hours stated, call Mike Arnold at 2177. Friday Activities Continue . . . So far, the Youth Activities has sponsored trips to Raging Waters, and to Lagoon. We plan more trips to places like Hogle Zoo (on the 17th), to the Hansen Planetarium and flflflflfll News Children's Museum on the 24th and lastly, a trip in to the new 49th Street Galleria oh dthe 31st. This will end up our series of outings, to Salt Lake for the summer. If you enjoyed any of these trips and would like to see more, please contact Mike Arnold at 2177. If enough interest is shown, we will plan to make more trips. . Little League ... The Little League season at Dugway is winding down and an award banquet will program are coming out to the games and cheering on their players. Parents and kids are welcome to the banquet.
