Two contestants 0I!I0tI!BG0V took part in the wild cow milking contests. Darrell Taylor and Lyle Henroid won the contest on Friday the 20th and their efforts each earned a fancy engraved silver buckle, with a golden relief image of a wild cow being milked. Iyle described the contest as a "free for all, in which 12 cowboys in pairs try to rope one of 6 wild cows, one man holds the animal down after the rope' is freed from her head, and the other milks enough into a coke bottle to pour out. Iyle roped the cow, Darrell held her down, while Lyle stepped off his horse to milk the struggling cow. In the final try on the closing night of the rodeo, they got a really mean cow and were not successful in repeating their victory.
