Show THE ZEPHYR/AUGUST-SEPTEMBER 2007 Tabitha Stevens, a legendary adult star who has not done an adult film in many years is under attack. The glares we get everyday are horrible. People won't even look at her or have the decent grace to simply say hello. It’s repulsive the treat83 NORTH MAIN ST. ment these people dish out to others simply because they are ignorant and led MOAB, UTAH 84532 by their fear. You’d think we had started a war which resulted in thousands of (435) 259-5154 lost American lives or something. Tabitha is one of the most sensitive, wonderful caring human beings you will ever meet, but alas she did porn, therefore she is evil, like a witch. Didn’t they hang witches in Salem, Mass a few years back? But I assure you the next violent war movie or western which comes into town is welcome. In fact we the citizens of Green River can contribute and would love to contribute... we?ll rent our guns out to the production! And if they want to blow up a few cars or trucks... cool! Back of Beyond This is the attitude of Green River, Utah and I?m sure that the lines were drawn when Robbie and Hope Levin came under fire in Moab. But here in Green River the fathers have great plans... yes to a new oil refinery (are you all in Moab aware of this?) which will create toxins in the air we breath, the air our children breath, this is good, for it will create a few jobs. Bad air is good, filming love... bad. I have a feeling Hope Levin was just bored. She was overworked and simply thought it would be fun to say a few lines in a silly little series. By the way, Moab is downwind of the proposed new oil refinery, but that’s okay, we're getting rid of the fake love. Good Thoughts, & Le \v . 4 Bookstore by Dr. Steve Lacy and Pearl Baker An exciting historical narrative more than 25 years in the making, Posey: The Gary Orona Producer, Director Green River Filmworks, LLC Editor’s Note: My personal opinion of Hope Levin was never influenced by her participation in the film; she was, however, listed online as one of the major stars in two of the episodes. I never saw the show. But I did believe that Robbie Levin knew more about the production of the HBO series than he was willing to admit to in public venues like the Moab Times-Independent and the County Coucil. Ultimately, the chapter in Brave New West has more to do with the changing culture of the rural west than the personal tastes or values of anyone. I think Mr. Orona makes a valid point when it comes to our culture’s odd way of being horrified by the sexual content in films while embracing the most violent images one can imagine during the 8 o'clock hour on primetime television. And I think ALL of us could use more stimulating, rowdy REAL sex...me especially....JS POINTBLANK SUBMISSIONS Pointblank submissions should be 750 to 1200 words.
