This is downright cheap. I should probably charge a lot more. But realistically there’s not a lot of money available for schools these days. Of course, we are living in war time. And I guess it is necessary to spend what, about half of our country’s budget on defense. If students don’t have textbooks or individual attention in our crowded classrooms and if schools can’t afford a planetarium visit, well gosh, times are tough. But the planetarium can be such an inspiring experience. I like to think that the time-a student spends in the planetarium will be the most important time of that child’s school year. It may just light a proverbial fire in the mind that never goes out. These are the future leaders of our country. And maybe if enough young people have a visit to the planetarium then our leaders of the future will realize that if we don"t start spending more on schools then it won't matter how much we spend on-defense because there won't be much worth defending. So spark your students, have faith in the future, and bite the budget, bullet.
