And so I think that where she is She must be watching yet Waiting till we come home to RomaS Blonde ’ -- LOGAN pur beloved mother grandmother greatgrandmother and sister Roma Schiess Blonde passed from this life peacefully on April 16 2004 She maintained her sweet and loving spirit to the very end of her days Roma was born in Providence Utah to Theophile and Mary Schiess Sept 24 1928 She was the youngest of eight children She attended schodls in Cache Valley Upon graduating from High School she and a friend left the valley for California There she met William Madison Blonde they were married February 16 1947 in Reno Nev Roma and Bill had 4 daughters Susan Smith of Logan Georgia (Gary) Patter-so- n of Bountiful Kathryn (John) Wuthrich of Logan Mary Blonde of Salt Lake City Roma was a sweet loving soul She worked in several Nursery Schools and had a fond love for children Later when she moved back to Providence she was employed at Utah State University in the Computer Center and retired in 1 993 ' She also worked at the Logan Temple in the Nursery She loved playing the piano garden1 ing and crocheting She was very talented in crafts Roma was blessed with a lovely Alto n voice and sang a lot to her and grandchildren She also sang with her sisters Amy Gibbons and Phyllis Atkinson on many occasions Singing to ' Roma gave her comfort in her last days Roma was an active member in the LDS Church and served in many callings mainly in the Primary leading music playing ' the piano and teaching the little ones She was also a Visiting ' Teacher Roma always had a smile on her face and a positive attitude' She looked for the best in everyone she came in contact with She so loved her daugh- ters grandchildren and sisters and friends and the children in her neighborhood Those who knew her will miss her Her 4 daughters Susan Georgia Kathryn and Mary 3 sisters Mae Rees Amy Gibbons and Phyllis Atkinson 9 ' grandchildren 10 great-gran' children 4 and many nieces and nephews
