PORT ARTHUR PLUNDER list of russian property captured by japanese the following report from general nogi giving details of the property at port arthur which has been transferred to the japanese has been received as follows per manent forts and fortifications 69 guns large calibre 64 medium call bre small calibre total shells torpedoes 60 explosives 1588 pieces powder 30 bushels hides 35 pistols ammunition for small arms rounds ammu wagons train carts miscellaneous carts 65 bar ness etc searchlights 14 telegraph apparatus 15 telephoned signaling apparatus 3 horses 1920 her of entrenching tools four n abe sevas tv and 2 cruisers H gani torpedo boat destroyers 8 launches 12 craft ana also private steamers the above were sunk or otherwise destroyed besides these there are 35 small steamers which will be serviceable after slight repairs
