end of great str ke at hand the allied trades council of achl cage on tuesday decided to submit to the unions the proposition for set of the stockyards stride ac cording to the statement of casa vice president of the butch ers union the proposition upon which the unions are to vote provided for calling off the strike the men to be employed re as soon as possible the skilled hands to receive the former scale of wages and the abandonment of the office of steward by the unions strikers in the other striking centers also assembled by order of president donnelly for the purpose of taking a referendum vote to declare the strike
