Schofield's Certificates The Beaver County Board of Education announced Monday that a new principal has been selected for Milford High School. They unanimously agreed that Walter Schofield is the right man for the job. Mr. Schofield is a Salt Lake City native and a graduate of Skyline High School. He received a B.A. in Art Education from Brigham Young University in 1972, and a M. Ed., in Education Psychology, from Westminster College in 1979. He is currently enrolled in the Leadership Preparation Program at BYU, and expects to receive his Education M. Ed. in— Administration during the summer. At Taylorsville High School, Mr. Schofield was the Art Chairman Department from State 1981 through 1988, and an Art 1981 — Instructor from through 1993. Mr. expects to Schofield stay in the profession for at least fifteen more years, and is looking forward to spending those years at MHS. (Meet the Schofield family on page 2) Wendy Holme Aside from a few years in Salt Lake City, Mrs. Holme has lived in Milford all of her life. She is the mother of four children; Charlie, the youngest, is still at home. She has been employed by the Beaver County Sheriff's Department for the past three years, and is a Certified Dispatcher and As Jailer. "I won't miss the long drive between Milford "and Beaver, especially early mornings when it is cold and snowy," she said. Mrs. Holme is looking forward to August and the _ beginning of her new job. Mr. Schofield and his wife, Marle, are the parents of nine children, ranging in age from four to twenty-four. They are. planning to pull up their Salt Lake City roots and make a commitment to Milford. "We were looking for a place off the beaten path.
