F Olsen a native of Ephraim Mr Olsen son of Mrs An Andrew Andrew Andrew An- An drew Olsen will wilI terminate his post of District Directors Director's Designative Designative Des Des- Representative sometime sometime sometime some some- time this week Mr Olsen entered his ca career career career ca- ca reer with the Internal Revenue Service In October of 1938 His lIls first assignment was as an agent In Chicago Illinois He held this position until June 1942 From July of 1942 until January January January Jan Jan- uary of 1946 he served as a a. member of the U. U S. S Army where he was a captain in the Infantry The Salt Lake District of office office office of- of fice of the Internal Revenue Service was his first assignment assignment assignment assign assign- ment when he returned to work on January 2 1946 On April 24 1946 he was transferred to the IRS office In Coeur dAlene Idaho where he worked until December 16 1951 when he was transferred to his present assignment at atthe atthe atthe the Provo office Mr Olsen graduated from Ephraim High School and then entered Snow College where he received his A. A S. S degree in 1933 In 1935 he was awarded award d dh h his s bachelor of science degree from Utah State Agricultural College He then attended the University of Utah where he received a bachelor of science degree from the school of business business business bus bus- iness In 1938 In June of 1937 he completed comple comple- ted a higher accounting course ourse through th the extension division of LaSalle University Mr Olsen also holds a Certified Certified Certified Public Accountant certificate certificate in both Utah and Idaho Mr Olsen has spent many of his weekends In Ephraim with his mother working on the family fam fam- ily farm He has not made any definite plans as yet |
