Show Page 4 Wednesday, October 30, 1974 sSimmoN ITS STILL OUT THERE MOSCOW It was announced on Saturday, October 26th, that President Ford and Soviet Communist party leader Leonid Brezhnev will meet in the Soviet Union on November 23rd and 24th. The announcement was made following three days of talks between the communist leader and U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. The two had been conferring on the guidelines fa an eventual limitation of strategic offensive weapons and it is hoped that the November meeting of the two world leaders will provide arms negotiators with a consensus of objectives. The discussions will take place in the Vladivostok area of the Soviet Union. This is significant in that the region has caused disputes between the Kremlin and Ford-Brezhn- ev Red China.
