The group will be initiated into the national organization at the State Convention in Springville, Utah, in Novem- ber and will attend the Regional Convention at Cottonwood High in April. Individuals desirous of Secoming Thespians must tarn points through in dramatic acuities. Points can bd earned having the lead in a school par-idpab- Ly, competing r by working V ' v in contests, on a stage rew. Members receive a magazine entitled Dramatics and can attend the two conventions which offer workshops, plays, and suggestions on contest work. Scheduled activities for the year include a workshop directed by a B.Y.U. drama in student Creative Dramatics, a Night of One-APlays, a drama assembly, and participation in the annual Poetry Festival in April. In addition, the group will put on a Childrens Musical for Marsac Elementary and Castle Nursery in Salt Lake City. To be presented in ct 10 Presidents Night December, the musical was written by Speech teacher Brenda Bensdi and presented by the B.Y.U. Repertory d Company two years ago. En-title- Goodnight, Goodk night," the musical is about a spell put on a little knight by the Sandman. In order to be released from the spell, the knight must find the magic of sleep. The musical has seven songs and a cast of twelve characters. Killpack, and repeated several times her delight at being selected, 3rd of the Man-da- Millie Wheeler nt For nine years Wheeler and her assistants now, Mrs. Millie Wheeler has been plan- attended ning and supervising all the Park City school lunches Marsac Elementary and the High School alike. Having worked in the food business Workshop all her life including 27 years at Pop Jenks Mrs. Wheeler applied for the job nine years ago, and Ive just worked here ever since, she said with a smile. Her job keeps her pretty busy. With the help of four other women, Millie plans all the school lunches, purchases the food, and helps prepare the meals at Marsac. She then drives the lunch truck over to the High School, helps serve the food, and returns to Marsac to finish things up there. As the government provides an allotment of certain foods (meat, poultry, dairy products, some fruits and vegetables), Millie must make arrangements to pick up those supplies and work them into the menu.
