The team averaged 61 points per game this year while their opponents avenged 38.4. March 24th at 6 p.m. at the Post Cym. double-eliminatio- STEVE TOEPEL Two memliers of the Dugway basketball team which recently competed in stati tournament competition have been named to honor teams by the Deseret News coaches poll. Senior center Barry Gardner was selected to the class second team Barry led the Mustangs throughout the season in points and rebounds. Gardners ability was evidenced by setting an all time Dugway rebounding record for a single season. Steve Toepel, a senior forward, was selected to the Region 9 second team all region. Steve started the season as the teams sixth man and became a starting forward midway through the season. His rebounding skills and contributions in die point department greatly aided in the Mustang drive to the state tournament competition. 8 I-- M standings: 878 9-1- 2 Any boy or girl who will reach the age of nine before August 1, 1975 and who will not have readied die age of 13 before that date is eligible to compete in Little League Baseball. We are participating in Americas fastest growing participation sport. We are going , skiing. The dd program here is one of DYAs favorite activities. There are about 120 participants in this exciting program -about 80 kids and 40 adults. Tnis year's program was conducted in conjunction with the dd instructors at Park City. West. The skiiers in die program range from 4 years old to adults; all in varying levels of skiing abilities. The DYA provides all the equipment necessary for dding at a nominal fee. This fee covers the cost of skis, boots and poles. Skiing lessons are available to die participants of this program at a separate cost. Transportation to arid from the dding area is also provided by DYA at an additional cost. One very unique feature of die DYA ski program is that ddiers are issued their equipment on a ski season basis. They retain their equipment for die entire ski season. This makes for a much safer ski program as die skier becomes accustomed to Ms particular dd and is able to achieve greater control while dding.
